How to Calculate Your Rutgers GPA
Rutgers uses the standard quality points formula, but with fewer grade increments than most US universities. Because Rutgers does not offer A+, A-, B-, C-, or D+ grades, the GPA jumps between adjacent grades are larger than at typical institutions.

What Makes Rutgers Grading Unique
Rutgers University stands apart from most US institutions with its simplified grading system. While the majority of American universities use 13 grade increments (A+ through F with plus/minus variations), Rutgers uses only seven: A, B+, B, C+, C, D, and F. Pass/No Credit at Rutgers
